The ECO2RUPPERS South South Volunteer Zone is designed to mobilise a network of eco-conscious youths across all 122 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the largest national Green Citizen Impact Campaign in Africa. Its goal is to activate practical measures that domesticate the SDG Decade of Action and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The volunteer platform builds a network of community-based SDG Action Marshalls, specifically trained, empowered, and deployed to create a greener, cleaner, gender-responsive, and socially inclusive society. Through multi-industry, multi-stakeholder, and multi-cultural civic action campaigns, these Marshalls will help establish a climate of green profits for South South Nigeria.

ECO2RUPPERS South South is positioned to drive a statewide gender and youth-based Development Impact Marshalls Programme, rooted in the conviction that women and youths must be at the frontlines of leadership and action to achieve inclusive, sustainable, and equitable progress in South South States.
